A 2:1 or 1st (or expected 2:1 or 1st) in a data heavy subject (EG Maths, Physics, Chemistry, IT or Engineering). Collecting and analysing competitive price information Required Skills. Validating and improving the performance of prediction and optimisation algorithms. Identifying features and relationships useful for the predictive modelling of market dynamics. Pre-processing (validate, clean, normalize, reduce dimension) large data sets for model estimation and pricing event analysis. We are open to discussing part time opportunities, and are flexible as to start and end dates, ideally looking to bring an intern on sometime in Autumn 2022. You would work directly with other members of our data science team, based from our Manchester co-working space at least 2 days a week. This is an opportunity to develop your data science experience and technical expertise, using our data platform to develop advanced machine learning and optimisation techniques.
